An article detailing the experiences of a patient that was infected with COVID-19 twice and the current status of herd immunity. Limited research on recovered COVID-19 patients shows that not all patients develop antibodies after infection and some asymptomatic patients mount an antibody response immediately only to have it wane quickly afterward. While experts generally consider natural herd immunity a worst-case-scenario, national discourse retains an implicit hope that herd immunity is possible.
